Milkshakes are so easy to make! We love the creamy sweetness and ice cold texture on a warm day. And what better way to celebrate National Vanilla Milkshake Day on June 20th than with this dairy-free version of the sweet treat? With just three ingredients to start, it’s quick to whip up in a blender and enjoy for the holiday. A crumble of the Blueberry Vanilla Kale LivBar on top ties in with the vanilla bean flavor of the ice cream and lends a nice bite to the vanilla milkshake.
We recommend starting with a solid vanilla flavored ice cream for maximum flavor throughout the drink. Then it’s as simple as blending the dairy free ice cream with your milk of choice for a creamy-smooth consistency. We used coconut ice cream and coconut milk because of the creamy texture. A dash each of cinnamon and nutmeg adds extra fun flare to the treat.
If you’ve never made your own milkshake at home, don’t fret: You’ll see how incredibly simple it is with this vegan vanilla milkshake recipe! In fact, here’s an excuse to celebrate National Vanilla Milkshake Day all-year-round. For another refreshing dairy free treat, try these Coffee Maple Cacao Vegan Ice Cream Pops.
