We love when fall rolls around because that means pear season is upon us! Although they taste delicious on their own, we love using them in smoothies, baked goods, and nutritious dishes. Pears pack a ton of vitamins, minerals, and powerful plant compounds that can aid in your health. 

We used a green anjou pear for this recipe, however you can use any kind of pear desired. If you're not a fan of pears, this recipe can easily be substituted with apples and peaches
