A twist on a classic fan-favorite!

It's that time of year again! Holidays are approaching and recipe ideas are needed for hosting. These paleo candied sweet potatoes are the perfect addition to any holiday meal. They're an even combination of salty and sweet, accompanied by a crunchy topping with our not so secret ingredient - LivBar.

Candied sweet potatoes are a classic side found in holiday spreads at Thanksgiving and Christmas. They're typically made with loads of butter, sugar, and sometimes even marshmallows! We wanted to take this beloved side and recreate it using whole food ingredients without sacrificing any of the taste.

Sweet potatoes are one of our favorite vegetables because they're packed with so many nutrients that aid in our everyday health! This root vegetable is an incredible source of fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. All of these compounds aid in protecting your body against disease and sometimes even cancer. We topped these sweet potatoes with omega-rich pecans for the ultimate boost of healthy fats!
