School and Parent Approved Lunches
Back in 2018, 2.5% of kids were diagnosed with an allergy to peanuts which is the leading allergy found in children, and that percentage has only continued to increase. Because of this, many schools have chosen to ban nuts from coming into the school, making lunch packing more difficult for parents and picky eaters. Whether you have a child with a nut allergy or simply struggling to figure out what to pack for lunches, we are so grateful for companies like SunButter who have created a nut-free butter that is processed in a nut-free facility, making it a safe alternative while still being able to enjoy everything nut butter has to offer. We decided to combine one of our LivBars with SunButter, resulting in a kid, school, and parent-friendly lunch. Not to mention a quick, easy, and delicious way to get protein and added vitamins and minerals such as: Vitamin E, Iron, and Magnesium.
SunButter x LivBar 'Sandwich'
- 1 LivBar - any flavor (kids tend to like our fruity flavors)
- 1-2 tbs SunButter
- Cut LivBar into four squares.
- Spread SunButter on two of the squares and place the remaining LivBar squares on top to create two small sandwiches. Note: You can put the nut butter on the LivBar before cutting it, but we found it easier to cut the LivBar first.
- Pack into kid's school lunches and pair with crackers, fruits, and lots of veggies for a balanced, nutritious meal while your little one is at school.
